We partner directly with skilled artisans in a small village in Ghana, where each basket is lovingly handwoven using sustainably sourced Elephant Grass. The process begins with each straw being carefully split and hand-rolled, preparing it for the intricate weaving. It takes around two weeks to complete one basket, with extra days dedicated to hand-dyeing and drying the straw to create unique designs. Every step is done by hand—there are no machines, no mass production. The process is a collaborative effort, with each artisan contributing their craftsmanship to create a truly one-of-a-kind product. No two baskets are ever the same, making them beautifully imperfect.
